In this second installment, I continue my discussion about how corrupt financial institutions like Chase Bank need to be boycotted.
I also recommend not using Visa and Mastercard checking cards, even when the money exists in your checking account. Even though this doesn’t incur interest on you, the merchant has to pay anywhere from 2-4 percent to that financial institution. Mom & pop stores are up to their eyeballs in this financial crap, and every time I go to a diner or low-cost store, I use cash or check, as well as reusable shopping bags.
But the main thing is to put a monkey wrench is this creepy financial system we have all become so accustomed to accepting.
Please make 2009 the year of paying down debt and saying “screw you” to these parasitic institutions. And if you must default on just one credit card, let it be your Chase Card. After all, they have no compassion on you, right? You’re just returning the favor.
Please feel free to leave your comments and do as much research as you can on this subject.

We believe that anyone who finds themselves with credit card debt should consider pursuing debt settlement.
We find it ridiculous that the big banks get “bailed out” as soon as they have any kind of trouble only to bounce back quickly to achieve record profits and return to paying themselves extraordinary bonuses. Meanwhile Consumers have received practically no relief at all and continue to be burdened with high debt levels.
Having inside credit industry expertise, we know debt settlement is one of the most successful paths to consumers finally getting rid of their credit card debt burden, period. Debt Settlement has a much greater success rate than credit counseling, loan consolidation, using home equity, or continuing to pay minimum monthly payments while interest charges continue to accumulate.
The people who will benefit the most from debt settlement are those with unsecured debts greater than $10,000. The more unsecured debt you have the more opportunity fo you to save.
You will also need to have some means to generate savings or access to savings within 18 months of beginning the program in order to have means to offer the credit card companies low settlement amounts in exchange for them agreeing to consider your account settled with a zero balance.
On average you can expect to settle your accounts for 40% of what you owe at the time of the settlement. The percentages you will settle each account for will vary. You may settle some accounts for as low as 25% while others for 60%, but on average 40% is a realistic expectation. So for example, if you have $50K in credit card debt at the time of your settlements you pay $20K in exchange for a zero balance netting you a savings of $30K (note the payment of $20K will be spread over the times you reach a settlement agreement with each individual creditor).

http://www.cambridge-credit.org/ — Today’s younger generation is experiencing unprecedented financial challenges. The price of college tuition is rising approximately 7.9% per year, the average student loan debt is $21,000, and roughly 84% of graduates have credit card balances just over $3,000! These are some of the reasons that those between the ages of 18 and 25 are now the fastest growing segment of bankruptcy filers! Even though these problems are considerable, there is good news for student’s financial futures.
